Hemel ERSA Race 2008 The first of the ERSA summer league races for 2008, the Hemel at Welwyn race, was held on Sunday 20^th April, and for once at Welwyn it wasn’t raining! Some 27 Vikings made the trip, together with their supporters and drivers, including first time racer Darryl Cuthbert who managed to finish all 3 of his runs. It was a good day for the ladies, with 5 of them picking up medals, and 6 of them finishing in the top 25. A really big well done to Jasmin Taylor, who finished second overall in the ladies competition, and was only 0.01sec behind the fastest time of the day from a lady. The seniors/ masters team finished runners-up in the dual slalom competition, so well done to all the “auld ones”!
